Burger King is bringing back the fan-favourite Halloumi King and brand new Halloumi Bacon King Burger just in time for summer.
Halloumi fans can rejoice as Burger King is finally bringing back their much-loved Halloumi King Burger, as part of the expansion of the reduced menu in the UK.
The Halloumi King Burger is made up of two fried Halloumi patties, served in a brioche bun with crisp lettuce, onion and mayo with a fresh slice of ripe tomato.
They’re also bringing out a brand new Halloumi Bacon King Burger to reopened restaurants across the UK.
The Halloumi Bacon King Burger consists of crispy bacon between two fried Halloumi patties, served in a brioche bun with lettuce, mayo and a fresh slice of tomato.
Katie Evans, Marketing Director at Burger King UK said: “We are so pleased to be able to start expanding our menu again as we continue to ease out of lockdown with our phased re-opening plan.
“You asked, we listened and now we can finally bring a dose of much-needed joy with the return of our very popular Halloumi King Burger and brand-new Halloumi King Burger, just in time for summer.”
The burgers can both be bought separately or as part of a meal with chips and a drink which will set you back £5.99 for the Halloumi Burger and £7.49 for the Halloumi King Burger.
That’s not all the good news either, the Bacon King Burger (£5.99) which sees two savoury flame-grilled 100% British and Irish beef burgers, topped with thick-cut smoked bacon, melted American cheese and a dollop of ketchup and creamy mayonnaise, all on a soft sesame seed bun, will also be making a return to the menu.
Burger King is continuing its phased reopening plan, with 350 locations for delivery and drive-thru set to be open in the UK by the end of June.
