Greggs is giving free treats to people who had a birthday during lockdown

Greggs is offering a sweet treat for those who celebrated their birthday in lockdown to make it just that little bit better.

Lockdown was tough for everyone, but for those who celebrated a birthday where they couldn’t see their friends or family, it was really hard! 

Tonnes of places have therefore offered a nice little surprise to those people, to help them enjoy a belated celebration of their birthday, including free Prosecco at this Manchester restaurant and free Krispy Kremes. 

The treat is available via the Greggs’ Reward app, which you can download for free and redeem a voucher that will give you a sweet treat up to a value of £1. 

All you need to do is show the voucher on your phone as you order and you can get a treat of your choice!

You can claim your treat up to the end of this year – usually, birthday treats from Greggs have to be redeemed a month after your bday. 

You’ll be able to choose from the likes of a cookie, doughnut or the most delicious thing of all – a yum yum.
