The Ivy Spinningfields is set to reopen next month and it’s bringing a brand new theme with it to celebrate.

Encouraging Manchester to ‘get together, feel the love, taste the freedom’, you’ll be greeted with a new 1960’s-style ‘Summer of Love’ theme, featuring colourful new cocktails and food.

The theme is a subtle nod to the potentially incredible summer we’re about the experience, following the various lockdown restrictions we’ve all endured over the past year.

Cocktails include This Bird Has Flown (£10.75), made with Haku Japanese Vodka, mint, lemon, sugar and topped with chilled Prosecco.

Lazin’ On A Sunny Afternoon (£9.95) is mixed with Roku Gin, Lillet Rose, pink grapefruit juice, Fever-Tree Soda Water and Prosecco, while a Woodstock Old Fashioned (£10.95) is made with Maker’s Mark 46 Bourbon and spiced maple syrup.

On the new food menu there’s a vibrant Pea Velouté (£6.75), with lemon and thyme ricotta, crushed peas and black pepper, as well as Côte de Boeuf (£32.95).

If you’re still hungry, you can grab a Strawberry Ice Cream Sundae dessert (£8.25), with vanilla ice cream, meringue, shortbread and a warm strawberry sauce.

Kate Cooper, General Manager at The Ivy Spinningfields says: “We are very excited to be re-opening on May 17th across all three floors, whilst welcoming back our regular diners alongside members of the community, who we have greatly missed over the last few months.

“Whether you’re looking for lunch and cocktails with friends on our roof garden, or dinner with a loved one at The Ivy Asia, there are plenty of delicious options to help you rediscover your love of dining this summer.”
