Exciting gin news: Local favourite Forest Gin is dominating a new pop up in Manchester’s city centre.

Located on the ground floor of Harvey Nichols, the pop up is available every weekend and is offering some seriously good cocktails made with the finest local ingredients.

Their website reads: “Join us every weekend for a specially curated menu of botanically inspired gin cocktails showcasing the very best of Forest Gin’s unique distillations.

“Featuring the finest organic and foraged ingredients, sourced from the distillery’s idyllic surroundings in the Peak District National Park, take some time out to enjoy a ‘Lavender Bee’s Knees’ cocktail or a refreshing ‘Forest Gin Hibiscus Lemonade.'”

On the menu, you will find unique concoctions such as the ‘Earl Grey Iced Tea’, a delicious blend of – you guessed it – Earl Grey Forest Gin, rose lemonade, summer berries and mint leaves.

The ‘Lavender Bee’s Knees’ is also worth a try – a simple blend of Forest Gin, lemon juice, honey and lavender.

And for those fancying something other than gin, the ‘The Velvet Nettle’, which blends Forest Whisky, lemon, nettle cordial, honey and egg white will be certain to hit the spot.

The Forest Distillery is located in a unique 17th century barn, nestled within the beautiful Macclesfield Forest in the Peak District National Park.

It is here that the Bond family and ‘a small team of weasels’ daily distil spirits of the very highest quality using organic and foraged ingredients – all water used in the process comes from the Peak’s very own natural springs.
