Inspired by Captain Tom Moore, a great grandma from Middleton is raising funds for an NHS charity.

Win Page, 99, is walking 10 lengths of her driveway every day before she turns 100 on April 28th.

The inspirational 99-year-old will be doing 100 lengths in total, over 10 days, and has already raised £11,337 for the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust.

The JustGiving page reads: “I am walking 10 lengths of my driveway every day starting on 18th April and finishing on 28th April which is my 100th birthday.

“This works out at 100 lengths over 10 days. Please sponsor me to show your appreciation for the hard work and dedication of front line NHS workers.”

Yesterday, Tuesday April 21st, the page gave an update: “Win is overjoyed with the support everybody has shown. She is delighted to be able to give something back to the NHS who have helped her so much over the years.

“She continues to do her 10 lengths a day and we will keep you updated on her progress. Thank you to everybody for your support!”
