Police issue urgent appeal to locate missing teen who grew up in Manchester

An urgent appeal to find a missing teenage girl has been issued by police.

Abbie-Lea Bolshaw lives in Blackpool but grew up in Manchester, and might be in the city, according to officers.

The police are ‘extremely concerned for her welfare’, after the 15-year-old disappeared in a pink dressing gown around 9.30am on Monday, March 9th.

Lancashire Police wrote on Facebook: “Have you seen Abbie-Lea Bolshaw, 15, from Blackpool? She was last seen at around 9.30am on Monday (March 9th) on Bispham Road in the resort.

“Abbie-Lea is described as white, 5ft 2ins tall, of petite build, and has blonde hair. She may have changed her appearance by wearing wigs or extensions. She was last seen wearing black leggings with Armani written on them and a pink dressing gown.

“She has links to Morecambe, Carnforth and Lancaster, as well as Cumbria. She is originally from Manchester and could be in the area.

“We are extremely concerned for her welfare and need anyone with information to get in touch. For immediate sightings of Abbie-Lea, please dial 999. If you have any information about where she could be, please call 101 quoting incident reference 305 of March 9th.”

While Abbie-Lea has blonde hair, officers have advised she may be wearing wigs or extensions.

She’s been described as white, 5ft 2ins tall with a petite build, and was last seen wearing black leggings with Armani written on them and a pink dressing gown.

As well as Manchester, the teenager also has links to Morecambe, Carnforth, Lancaster and Cumbria.
