In case you missed it – although I’m not sure how you could – the country came together to celebrate the heroes at the NHS last week.
On Thursday March 26th at 8pm, people took to their doorsteps, windows, gardens and balconies to clap for the NHS, as they work tirelessly to see us through this difficult period in our history.
Well tonight, Thursday April 2nd, the UK will once again come outside to applaud the people keeping the country going – although this time it’s dedicated to all key workers.
This means that people like delivery drivers, supermarket workers, teachers, cleaners, postal workers, the emergency services and healthcare workers will all get the praise they deserve.
Clap for our Carers has now become a weekly event while the coronavirus pandemic is ongoing, every Thursday at 8pm.
The website reads: “Healthcare workers, emergency services, armed services, delivery drivers, shop workers, teachers, waste collectors, manufacturers, postal workers, cleaners, vets, engineers and all those who are out there making an unbelievable difference to our lives in these challenging times… bravo, you are amazing!”
Make sure you get involved, to show your appreciation for everything these key workers are doing to keep our country running.
