A 21-year-old woman has sadly passed away after contracting coronavirus.

According to Sky News, she’s thought to be the youngest person in the UK with no pre-existing health conditions to have passed away after falling ill to the virus.

Chloe Middleton was from High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, and reportedly died from coronavirus over the weekend, on Saturday March 21st.

Diane Middleton, her mum, took to Facebook to share the awful news: “To all the people out there that thinks it’s just a virus please think again. Speaking from a personal experience this so-called virus has taken the life of my 21-year-old daughter.”

Emily Mistry, Chloe’s aunt, said that the young woman had ‘no underlying health issues’, adding that the family are ‘shattered’ at the loss.

She wrote on social media: “My beautiful, kind-hearted niece, Chloe, has passed away from COVID-19. She had no underlying health issues. My loved ones are going through the most unimagineable pain. We are shattered beyond belief.”

Chloe’s mum posted some photos of her daughter with the caption: “My angel I love you.”

Our thoughts are with Chloe’s family at this incredibly difficult time.
