Driving and theory tests have been suspended throughout the pandemic, but with test centres reopening, it’s time to do your revision.

If you’re hoping to take your theory test soon, or maybe just want to brush up on your knowledge of road signs, the DVSA is offering a free mock theory test online.

You can currently get free mock tests for car, motorcycle, lorry and bus or coach theory tests.

You can also get the thing we all resented the most, the hazard perception test for free. You’ll have to watch up to three videos and spot the hazards as the timer ticks down.

For car and motorcycle tests, there are 50 multiple choice questions to answer while lorry and bus or coach tests have 100 questions.

Each test takes around one hour, but you can take the test as many times as you want for practise.

Tests have begun again in England, are set to restart in Wales from August 17th but remain suspended in Scotland for the foreseeable. Currently, you cannot book a new test unless you had one booked before lockdown.

You’ll find all the new usual things such as social distancing markers, extra cleaning, hand sanitiser and face coverings on staff in the test centres.

Have a go at the mock test here!
