People have been rejoicing over Primark’s new cooling eye mask that allegedly alleviates all symptoms of hayfever.
Now, the pollen here in Manchester must be on steroids this year, because all those living with hay fever have been downright miserable this last month.
Yes it’s sunny, yes the beer gardens are back open – but when your throat is scratchy and your eyes have swollen up to the point you can barely see, it takes some of the fun out of those summer antics.
So, while the usual antihistamines aren’t even scratching the surface this year, some social media users are claiming that there’s a miracle cure elsewhere –

Primark.
Yep, the bargain retailer apparently has an eye mask that provides almost instant relief for those pesky hay fever symptoms.
A TikTok user shared a video of her testing out the mask last week, writing: “Everyone with hayfever needs one of these, you put it in the freezer, so good.”
The video has since been viewed nearly 700,000 times, and has garnered over 50,000 comments from desperate hay fever sufferers.
So, how does it work?
Well, all wearers need to do is keep the gel mask in the freezer for optimum coldness, and then fasten it around the eyes to provide some dreamy cooling relief.
For a slightly more scientific explanation, the cooling mask acts as a compress, constricting blood vessels and subsiding inflammation, meaning itchy eyes will feel soothed.
Some people even explained that the gel masks have helped them with other health issues, with one TikTok user writing: “I have [this] for my migraines. I love it.”
The mask is priced at a very reasonable £2.50, so you won’t be breaking the bank to get some much-needed relief this summer.
Aldi has knocked it out of the park this week with the launch of their ‘churros with chocolate’ flavoured gin.
Yep, it’s the churros and gin combo you never knew you needed.
Now, there’s no disputing the fact that the combination of churros and melted chocolate is definitely one of the more elite desserts out there – but have you ever envisioned chocolate churros whipped up into an alcoholic treat?

Of course, Instagram users were very impressed by the new boozy offering, with one writing: “Need to get it for the next cocktail night,” and another tagging their friend while noting: “We need to get our hands on this one.”

Admittedly, this gin may be a little bit sweet for some, but picture it in a gin espresso martini or as a twist on a pornstar martini.
I’ve convinced you, haven’t I?
Priced at £7.99 the chocolate churros gin liqueur is available both online and in stores, joining the likes of Lemon Drizzle Cake gin liqueur, Raspberry Jam Donut gin liqueur, and Salted Caramel Cupcake gin liqueur.
