We’ve all been there, lads, attempting to do something romantic for our better halves and it’s backfired massively.
That’s exactly what happened to one person, whose plan to spruce up the bedroom with some ‘romantic’ new sheets ended in disaster.
After putting the new rose bedding he purchased on his duvet, he quickly realised he’d created what looks like a murder scene in his bedroom – definitely a mood killer.
John Donoghue posted the white duvet and pillow covers with red roses splashed across them on Twitter.
It’s a miracle these made it out of the factory to be honest, as the rose petal strewn design looks like nothing except a very gruesome, blood-spattered crime scene.
John captioned the picture: “That awkward moment when you realise that your romantic new ‘white with rose bud’ bedding set makes your boudoir resemble a particularly gruesome crime scene…”
The post has racked up more than 8,000 likes at the time of writing, and people were quick to point out how suspicious the pattern looked.
