A savvy mum has shared her hack for filling a paddling pool from the tap with warm water.

With the temperature soaring this week, everybody has been heading out into their gardens and filling up paddling pools.

One savvy mum has shared her clever trick to filling a paddling pool directly from the tap even if you’ve not got a tap adaptor.

She claims it ‘works every time’ in her post to the Facebook group Crafts ‘n’ Creations

All you need is a balloon! She advises to cut off the end of a ballon leaving the tube shape and stretch it around the tap.

She says for best results to ensure the tap and hose pip face the same direction to avoid anything pinging off.

The balloon creates a seal around the tap like a tap adaptor allowing the water to run freely through the hosepipe from the tap.

The handy hack is perfect if your kids are too young to brace a freezing cold pool if you just want a bit of warmth in the mix!

The life hack will save you loads of time transporting mop buckets and kettles full of water from the kitchen to the garden to patiently fill up your pool!

If you can’t get hold of a balloon, another mum shared her hack to use water bottles. She used the water to attach the tap and hose to get the water directly into the pool.
