A new role based in Manchester is the ultimate dream job, as it involves playing with and caring for puppies all day long.
Yappy.com, a personalised online shop for dogs, cats and their adoring owners, is on the look out for a ‘chief puppy officer’, a role that involves a lot of cute puppies in dire need of fuss, attention and love.
The enviable role will also involve taking charge and entertaining the dogs of the Yappy team while their owners are hard at work creating personalised dog gifts for over 420 breeds.

The chief puppy officer will be expected to play with their dogs while ensuring they’re entertained and stimulated – it’s a hard job but someone has to do it.
Though it is worth noting that it won’t just be 24/7 playing – the successful candidate will also be required to carry out market research with each office dog, providing written feedback on a range of toys, bandanas, treats and accessories to help the yappy.com team create more products.
Yappy.com has also detailed a little more about what the role entails:

Dog-obsessed, with a camera roll full of pups to prove it, highly experienced at handling dogs and an instinctive understanding of their needs, a tummy tickler experience level ‘expert’, and fully-committed to delivering the very best ‘dog days’ for Yappy’s dog family.
Reckon you’re up to the role? To be in with a chance, you’ll need to over eighteen years of age, be able to say why you’re fit for the job in no more than 200 words and apply through the Yappy.com website here.
