20 Stories is revamping its iconic terrace with the launch of a new ‘Quintessential English Garden’.

Manchester’s highest restaurant and bar is transforming its terrace from August 20th until September 30th with a beautiful English garden theme.

The terrace revamp will feature four garden houses in partnership with the finest English sparkling wine producer, Nyetimber.

The collaboration will also bring a specially-curated Nyetimber menu, including Nyetimber by the glass, bottle, as well as handcrafted cocktails including ‘North to South’ – made with homemade tablet syrup, fresh mint, Nyetimber Classic Cuvee, and served over crushed ice.

There’ll also be doing an ‘English 57’ cocktail, made up of gin, lemon, sugar, and Nyetimber Classic Cuvée.

Becky Wilkes, senior sales and marketing manager at D&D London – which owns 20 Stories – said: “Our terrace has become a much talked-about feature at 20 Stories, especially since our reopening at the start of July.

“The English garden we’re creating will bring a whole new feel to the space and we can’t wait for the big reveal. We want to give our guests a sense of a staycation, and bring the holiday feel to Manchester.”

The terrace will play host to four garden houses which will be decorated in keeping with the English garden theme.

Head chef Mike Jennings has also created an incredible selection of dishes, including baked local beetroot with whipped goats cheese and sticky walnuts, pan fried scallops, black pudding and pea salad, and whole lobster, garlic butter and fries.

The garden houses can be hired for up to six people for private use, and a Nyetimber menu will also be provided.

The terrace is open from August 20th until September 30th – you can find more info on the 20 Stories website here.
