A two-day long Indian Festival will be taking over Cheshire this summer in an event that organisers promise ‘has never been seen before.’

Indian Summer Fest UK will feature the Khanawala Street, a food extravaganza with seven stalls selling Indian Street Food that will transport visitors from the beautiful gardens of Arley Hall to the tastes and aromatic fragrances of Delhi and Mumbai.

The festival will boast everything from kebabs, wraps and bhangra burgers to authentic Indian curries and snacks.

And for those with a slightly less adventurous palette, less spicy fare can be found at the Artisan food stalls in the market, showcasing traditional street food such as stone-baked pizza and Belgian-inspired chocolate churros – talk about diversity.

Adults can also enjoy the Cocktail van, Gin bar and a Cobra beer stand.

As for live entertainment, guests will be able to enjoy a Tamasha, a traditional form of Marathi theatre.

A live drummer band, yoga classes and Bollywood dance classes will also be available across the weekend.

And parents, fear not! With the festival being a family event, there will be the world’s first “Kidchella” – a whole zone dedicated entirely to children.

Masti – meaning simply ‘fun’ – offers something for even the most discerning little adventurer to enjoy. While parents can taste Indian street food and sip on cocktails, their children can play in a giant sandpit, have fun on fair rides, or say hello to furry friends at the Donkey Sanctuary.

Older children can dive into Nach dance classes, pick up some new skills from the fabulous Circus Sensible team or explore the thrill of the Fun Fair.

The family event will be taking place on July 3rd and July 4th between the hours of 10am – 6pm at Cheshire’s beautiful Arley Hall Gardens.

Festival tickets are priced at £10 per person per day, and are available now on the official website here – you can get 10% off now with the code MCRFINEST.
