Some big news for Alanis Morissette fans this morning, as the singer has confirmed she’ll be stopping in Manchester as part of a new European tour.

Alanis announced details of the tour this morning, with Manchester Arena being one of three stops in the UK.

The singer is celebrating the 25 year anniversary of her third album Jagged Little Pill – which catapulted her to stardom in the mid-90s.

She’ll be hitting the road this autumn, to promote her upcoming album Such Pretty Forks in the Road.

Alanis, who’s won seven Grammys over her career, will start the tour in Copenhagen in September, before visiting London on September 28th, Birmingham on September 29th, then Manchester on October 4th.

Tickets for her European tour go on sale on Friday February 28th at 9am, although there’s going to be a presale on February 27th from 9am – you can get involved on Live Nation.
